Hunter's Birthday

Our big boy is now 4!! What a great time he had turning four as well! He had a great birthday party that was a pirate theme as well as his sister Tee Tee coming into town to celebrate with him. At his birthday party we decorated treasure chests for the craft activity which was a huge hit for all the kids and parents. Then we played pin the treasure chest on the "x". Hunter's friend Olivia ended up winning and she won the blue ribbon! All the kids had so much fun as did the parents. There ended up being five kids that came to his party; Tessa, Brewer, Quinn, Olivia, and Alex. The cake and the food was a hit as well. Whit and I made the famous pepperoni rolls, cheese dip, and a veggie dip assortment. Hunter was really over stimulated and went from being super happy to unhappy and then to happy again. Sheryl and Andy came up as well to celebrate the day so Whit got to meet them. The whole day was just so much fun! So when it was time to do cake and gifts Hunter was in a much better mood and was so excited. When he had all of his toys open he then said, " I am going to play with these all by myslef!", then I said, " we will play with gifts when friends all go home," then Hunter went over to all of his friends and said, "thank you and it is time for you to go home!" Classic Hunter! After his party we all rested and cleaned up and then went to Benihana's for dinner as it is Hunter's favorite place to eat for the soup and Rice.

A few days later Hunter, Russ, and I all celebrated Hunter's actual day of his birth with more gifts. Hunter wanted pancakes and bacon for his birthday dinner as well. So when we got home I found out that the pancake mix that I thought I had I did not so we ended up going to Blue Plate Diner which is amazing in it's self and we all had breakfast for dinner. Here are the pictures from Hunter opening up the gifts from Aunt Sue, Uncle John, Poppop-pop, Nanny and Poppop, Pippy and Poppop, and Russy and I.
