Funny story

So a few weeks ago Hunter woke up with a super high fever and really thirsty. I gave him some Motrin and water and tried to get him to go back to bed. Well he was still thirsty so I brought him in the kitchen to give him more water and to check his temperature again to make sure that the Motrin was kicking in. While he was sitting there so sweetly, I gave him a banana flavored popsicle, followed by his request of a blue one, and then a red one. After about an hour he went back to bed. A few days later I got up to work on my homework at O'Darkhundred, made some coffee and started on my assignment. A little bit later Hunter came into the kitchen said that he was thirsty and drank half of my cup of coffee. After he was done with that then he looked at me and said, "yellow popsicle please". I told him that it was only 6 in the morning and he needed to get back to bed... that went over like a lead balloon. So Hunter sat again very sweetly in the kitchen while I did my homework and ate about 4 popsicles. So almost every morning after that, and when he hears me get up, he comes in the kitchen and wants a Popsicle.

So this morning I got up to go running and Hunter heard me apparently because when I went into his room to make sure he was sleeping he was sitting straight up and asked me to turn on his Mickey Mouse movie. So being that it was 5:45am I tried to be to good mom and told him he needed to go back to bed. I covered him back up and then went to get dressed for my run. I went back to check on him before I got on my treadmill and he was asleep, so I shut his door and went out into the living room to put on my shoes. Before I could even get my right shoe on, Hunter was yelling for me to let him out of his room (perfect!). So I let the monster out of his room; he was telling me that he wanted chips... absolutely not! Okay so he picked out a pop tart, milk in his zoo cup, and a Capri sun for his breakfast at 6am (hahahaha). He then went and sat on the couch to watch me run, eat his breakfast, and watch Noggin (which is now Nick Jr.).

Needless to say, on the way into work he was falling asleep, and hungry! :)
