Hunter's Birthday Pics :)

Sorry these are so late but they are so great! Hunter had such a great birthday and such a great birthday party. We had his birthday party at the Discovery Museum at the Gateway Mall and I could not have asked for a better experience. The experience was so amazing that I asked if they were for hirer for wedding showers, baby showers, and even every day nanny duties. There were three hosts that helped and basically we hoisted all of the food that Russy and I made, (Not kidding: pulled pork sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit salad, a ton-o-drinks, and 40ish cupcakes with fantastic Granite Bakery frosting), on to these rolling carts, our guests placed all of their items as well as gifts, and these three lovely and amazing hosts took everything up to the birthday room and set up. Now, by set up I mean that they cooked the chicken dinosaurs and fries for all of the kids, set up all of the food, and set up all of the tables for the kids while we all got to play in the museum. When they were ready we all got to go up stairs to the birthday room and they served all of the kids and even wiped their sweet faces for them. Next all of the adults ate while the kids played with a playdo type gunk and had a blast. Then each of the kids got to choose an instrument and the hosts took all of the kids on a parade around the museum. They were so funny and loud... it was so great. Then they served all of the cupcakes and again cleaned up their faces. None of the parents, including myself, had to do anything other than sit back and relax... again you see why you want to hire them for all occasions :).

In addition to the great birthday party pictures, I have also included pictures of Hunter's actual birthday, and he was so happy to have a cupcake for breakfast. Enjoy! xoxoxoxo....

You are still doing it!

Okay so at some point in our lives we learn right from wrong and to take responsibility for our actions. Well apparently some people don't remember that lesson and choose to have selective hearing when reminded of it. Here goes my picture fiasco story!

On Saturday Russy, Hunty, and I all get dressed nice and went to go take pictures out in Bluffdale. Before we got on the freeway we stopped at Dan's Grocer to pick up three balloons and a cupcake for Hunter's birthday pictures. Hunter and I stayed in the car while Russy ran into Dan's. I was just sitting there when I felt a jolt and looked up to see father time looking back at me in his boat of a car. I look at him and yelled, "you just hit my car!", while he just kept staring back at me. Then another jolt and bump while he is still staring at me so I yelled again, "you are still hitting my car!!!", so I get out to look at my bumper. While I am standing there he backed up, like that will make it all better, and put his car in park. He gets out of his car, (I am assuming to come check out the star print indention on the bumper that I was admiring), grabs his cane, and proceeds to completely ignore me and walks into the store. As I am calmly saying, "Sir, sir", he just keeps walking... ugh... he was older than dirt and I felt bad so I went back to my car and called Russy... So I said, "Russy this old man just hit the car and would not talk to me or stop." Poor Russy he just sat by the front door and waited for him to come in to deal with it. I waited on the phone to make sure that Russy saw him; I described him as an older man in a short sleeved white shirt and a cane. So Russy said, " I think I see him... oh crap... thanks Lins...". Yeah so neither one of us could run him down to get his information to get the bumper fixed... it is not that bad... So I am hoping when either one of us are so old and not supposed to drive, or we hit someone, we can just act like it never happened, look them in the eye, and just walk away! :)
